About Us
The Homestead Hotel boasts an excellent location,
within walking distance of many downtown
Grafenwoehr restaurants, historic attractions, and
Garrison Grafenwoehr main gates. Guests can
experience all that the town of Grafenwoehr has to
offer along with the added convenience of very close
walking proximity to the base.
The Homestead Hotel, at the end of WWII, was
called, the Waldlust, the first and oldest guest house
in all of Grafenwoehr. During WWII the building was
bombed down to the basement flooring, restored
directly after the war, renovated again in the 1970's,
and now years later is currently restored, owned,
and operated by American-German Stakeholders.
Our spacious suites are fully equipped with every
amenity, plus more. Relax and enjoy an excellent
night's sleep in one of our Comfort Beds, which
come standard in each of our suites. Guests greatly
enjoy our spacious smoke-free accommodations with
oversize bathrooms and efficiency kitchens.
